EsOmeprazole is Antihistaminic and used as Antacid but not an Antacid. 

Composition - Tab - 10mg, 20mg 

Inj- vial contains 40mg

Class - Antihistaminic (PPI) 

Brand- Esodol 40

Mechanism Of Action

EsOmeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor. It inhibits the parietal cell H+ / K+ ATP pump, the final step of acid production. In turn, omeprazole suppresses gastric basal and stimulated acid secretion.

Dosage

<2.5 kg - 1.2mg/kg/dose   Max - 3mg/kg/day

2.5kg - 7kg - 5mg  Max - 3mg/kg/day (10mg) 

7 - 15 kg - 10mg  Max - 20mg daily

> 15Kg - 20mg  Max - 40mg 

Used As - Used as Antacid in lowering level of gastric Acid

Contraindicated - Not Safe in Pregnancy taken if Advised.
